She first discovered this gift while working with horses who had experienced trauma or neglect, finding purpose in helping them rebuild their trust in humans, and in themselves. That experience taught her that true progress comes from compassion, patience, and understanding.

With over two decades of experience, Molly has guided hundreds of dogs of all ages and backgrounds, with a special passion for supporting rescue dogs as they build confidence and find their place in the world.

She adapts her approach to fit each unique team, empowering Guardians to do the work themselves. Molly believes this work is about nurturing understanding and patience, honoring the unique bond between dog and guardian, and celebrating the journey of growing together.

Carre has always believed in the power of community, whether built around animals, people, or shared purpose.

A lifelong animal lover, she has shared her home with countless companions and currently enjoys life with her Labrador, Harper, and two cats, Zephyr and Crusoe.

With years of fundraising and community engagement leadership, Carre brings a passion for connecting people with meaningful causes and ensuring resources are in place to expand impact.

Her journey reflects a deep commitment to service, compassion, and creating spaces where both people and pets can thrive.

Jakob supports the non-profit's financial management with 14 years of retail management experience and 8 years as the owner of a successful resale business.

While he loves all animals, dogs, especially Dachshunds, hold a special place in his heart.

Jakob believes deeply in the importance of the Oh Hey Dog mission: providing education, guidance, and support to anyone with a dog, particularly those from rescue and shelter backgrounds.

Living in a college town, he sees how vital this work is for helping both dogs and Guardians build happy, lasting partnerships.

Beth has loved dogs her entire life, and that love deepened when she received her first dog, a boxer puppy named Tasha, as a birthday gift from her grandparents.

With a background as a teacher and librarian, organization and communication are her bread and butter, and she is always happy to help guide an unfocused dog (or human) back on track.

Her involvement with Oh Hey Dog grew from re-socializing her dog, Tali, after a difficult loss. Seeing Tali heal through weekend playgroups inspired Beth to help others in the same way.

Though Beth, Tali, and her husband Travis now live in Tampa, she remains dedicated and involved in the community and mission of Oh Hey Dog.

Fallon

Fallon has been working with dogs for over 15 years and has seen just about every personality out there, from couch-loving snugglers to high-energy zoomie pros.

Her passion is helping dogs and people understand each other better, turning everyday challenges into opportunities for connection.

As the organization's AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator, she helps teams demonstrate real-world manners and confidence beyond group settings.

She believes it is especially important to test and guide dogs outside of group settings, where they can truly show how they handle everyday life. Her favorite part is seeing the moment when a dog and person finally click.

Diana is a 12-year leukemia survivor whose perseverance has shaped her journey as both a mother and a fighter.

Her passion for training started young with her pug, Oki, and continues today with her Australian Shepherd, Pongo, who has mastered more than 20 tricks.

Her connection with Oh Hey Dog began on a pack walk and quickly became a meaningful community where she helps others navigate training and social experiences.

When she is not working with animals, Diana enjoys road biking through Gainesville, exploring national parks, and spending time with her husband David and son Bryce.

With a background in early childhood education, Diana blended her teaching skills with dog training to support Guardians and coaches.

Her dedication to spreading knowledge led her to create the Oh Hey Dog Coach Mentoring Program, now in its second pilot year.

The program covers behavior understanding, rehabilitation, Guardian education, leadership development, public speaking, and ethics for behavior analysts.

Although designed to prepare new Coaches for the organization, Diana believes these are essential skills for anyone working with dogs. Outside of coaching, she enjoys time with her daughters, adventures with Max and Luna, and gardening.

Working with dogs has always been a passion for Abby, and that became even more meaningful when she got her dog, Stormi.

She joined Oh Hey Dog in July 2023, became a first-round mentee in the Coach Mentorship Pilot Program in 2024, and began taking on cases to support Guardians directly.

As a coach, Abby focuses on making training more accessible and plans field trips around Gainesville to create positive, practical experiences for dogs and their Guardians.

Outside of her work with dogs, Abby enjoys dancing and photographing dogs, activities that keep her inspired and energized.

Many years ago, Melissa worked as a public school teacher in Broward County, Florida. Though she grew up surrounded by dogs, living overseas combined with motherhood and homeschooling kept her busy for many years. Once she was back in the US and her children were independent enough, she happily welcomed dogs back into the family.

Her journey back into the dog world began with Indie, an energetic Belgian Malinois who reminded her just how much joy, challenge, and personality a dog can bring. Next came Bear, a loyal German Shepherd mix who added even more heart and fur to the household. Most recently, Daisy joined the pack, an abandoned stray Melissa rescued, proving that sometimes the dogs who need us most find their way home.

Melissa discovered Oh Hey, Dog! after moving to Gainesville, Florida from Olympia, Washington. She was looking for socialization opportunities for Indie and Bear, as they had been used to regular dog interactions.

What started as a search for pack mates quickly turned into a meaningful connection with a community that shared her enthusiasm for dogs and the joy they bring to everyday life.

Lindsay serves as the Communications Chair for our organization, bringing both heart and expertise to the role. Her love of bully breeds started early; she was born into a family that already included a jet-black pittie mix named Say Say.

Lindsay spent most of her adult life as a devoted cat Guardian. After her family's fourteen-year-old cat passed, Lindsay began walking dogs at the Animal Welfare League in Punta Gorda, hoping to stay connected to animals in a meaningful way.

That is where she met Tia Jasmine, a senior pittie mix who had spent a year and a half in the shelter. Lindsay and her husband, Pete, knew immediately that they wanted to be her retirement home.

Their journey with Oh Hey, Dog! began soon after. With Abby as their coach, and with the help of her dog, Stormi, Tia slowly learned that other dogs were not something to fear. In time, she grew confident enough to join weekly pack walks.

Professionally, Lindsay brings 18 years of corporate communications experience to the table. She is excited to help Oh Hey, Dog! expand its visibility and create more opportunities for Guardians to benefit from the organization's mission.

Born and raised in Gainesville, FL, Jon has always been involved in computers and software. From an early age, his family and school gave him opportunities to explore technology, and that never-ending curiosity became a 20-year career.

He moved to Dallas to support large companies. There, he met Monte, his partner's husky. He fell in love and quickly found out that he was a dog person. Eventually, it was time to get the puppy that Monte would train, Brennan, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Jon discovered Oh Hey, Dog! the way many people do: by looking for a dog-related community in Gainesville on Facebook. After seeing Molly's drive and the mission of the organization, he knew this was something he wanted to support with his talents.
